TPN is an operator and commercial manager of capacity on Echo, a 16,051-kilometer subsea cable system connecting Singapore, Indonesia, Guam, and the US. TPN also has fiber-pair-level ownership on the Tabua subsea cable system, supporting low-latency connectivity between Australia, Fiji, and the US. Through Indigo’s specialist subsea operations, TPN gains the operational support and technical expertise needed to strengthen availability and support service continuity across its trans-Pacific portfolio.
“Supporting routes of this scale requires the right operational foundations from day one,” said Alfred Au Yeung, Chief Operating Officer at Trans Pacific Networks. “We chose Indigo because of its proven model and deep experience in the subsea cable market. Indigo understands the operational demands of critical subsea infrastructure and gives us the service assurance, technical support and accountability needed to deliver consistent performance for our customers.”
Indigo was founded in 1998 and supports critical digital infrastructure in more than 90 countries. It manages over 30,000 incidents annually, operates 24/7 NOC and SOC services, and has a global network of more than 3,500 engineers. Indigo works with some of the largest subsea cable systems in the world, providing full lifecycle support, from monitoring network architecture and integration to maintenance and capacity upgrades. Indigo’s role includes operational coordination across multiple network providers, customer provisioning, incident management, and end-to-end service assurance to support TPN’s evolving trans-Pacific service portfolio.
“Subsea infrastructure is central to the global digital economy, but its value depends on how reliably it performs once it is live,” said Michel Robert, CEO at Indigo. “By combining innovative tools and technologies with deep operational expertise, Indigo reduces risk, accelerates delivery, and drives consistent outcomes to support end-to-end project execution. Together, we’re ensuring that TPN’s customers benefit from consistent performance and service continuity across this critical route.”
Indigo serves critical digital infrastructure providers, from hyperscalers, subsea networks, cloud and OTT players, carriers, and fixed and mobile network providers.
The engagement with TPN further strengthens Indigo’s position as a scalable operational platform partner for next-generation subsea and hyperscale infrastructure. Its industry-leading operational platform is underpinned by secure global NOC and SOC services, delivering carrier-grade security, governance, monitoring, and operational resilience for critical subsea infrastructure.
