Holte has most recently served as chief commercial officer at JM Robotics and brings extensive experience from the aquaculture and offshore industries, including senior positions at Maritech and Axess. He starts in his new role on November 2, succeeding Christian Vikhammermo.

We believe his background will be highly valuable as JM Robotics continues to develop and grow,” said Jan Sverre Røsstad, Chair of the Board of JM Robotics.
Strong Technology Platform
The new CEO is looking forward to taking on the role.

The Board would also like to thank departing CEO Christian Vikhammermo for his efforts and contribution to the development of the company.

350 ROVs Delivered
JM Robotics AS was founded in Kristiansund in 2016 by professional divers Magnus Kjelland-Olsen and Johan Hellstrøm. The company develops and manufactures robust ROVs for the aquaculture, offshore, and defense industries.
JM Robotics has brought together its administration, electronics, mechanical engineering, software development, production, and test pool facilities at its Kristiansund base. The company also has offices in Trondheim and Bergen.
Since 2017, JM Robotics has delivered more than 350 ROV systems to approximately 100 customers. The company generated revenues of NOK 104 million in 2025 and had 42 employees.
