GABLER Acquires Exclusive Rights to ZIPPERMAST Submarine Mast Technology

GABLER has acquired the exclusive rights to use, develop further, manufacture, and market ZIPPERMAST technology in the global submarine market.

ZIPPERMAST is a compact, extendable mast system that enables sensors and other technical payloads to be positioned flexibly. It enables payloads to be integrated into platforms in a space-efficient manner and, when necessary, extended from a protected position. In addition to applications on submarines, the system offers interesting technological prospects for unmanned underwater vehicles, such as autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs).

By acquiring the exclusive rights, GABLER is laying the foundations to further develop and qualify ZIPPERMAST technology for its customers’ specific requirements in the submarine market. The aim is to combine existing know-how and expertise with ZIPPERMAST’s technological capabilities in order to develop new solutions for the underwater market.

ZIPPERMAST GmbH is based in Bad Reichenhall and specializes in the development of innovative, compact mast systems and solutions for the flexible integration and positioning of sensors and other technical payloads. The company specializes in developing mobile and modular mast technology for challenging operating conditions, particularly in the defense and security sectors.
