The Landshield family of systems strengthens assured positioning, navigation and timing (APNT) capabilities and protects critical GPS signals from electronic warfare threats in contested environments. Landshield and Landshield Plus combine advanced anti-jam technology with a compact, platform-agnostic design for use across land, maritime, and air platforms. Landshield Plus incorporates an antenna and anti-jam processor in a single unit, providing real-time awareness of interference sources and helping operators maintain reliable navigation.
“Electronic warfare threats are evolving, and forces across NATO need navigation systems they can depend on,” said Alex Rose-Parfitt, Engineering Director at Raytheon UK. “By selecting the Landshield family of systems, Sweden is strengthening its ability to protect critical GPS signals across a range of platforms and maintain mission effectiveness in contested environments.”
The acquisition reflects growing demand across NATO and allied nations for scalable anti-jamming capabilities that can address evolving threats across multiple operational requirements. It also builds on the increasing adoption of Raytheon UK’s anti-jamming technologies across Europe and the NATO alliance.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, thousands of Raytheon UK’s anti-jamming systems are helping allied forces maintain operational effectiveness and interoperability across land, maritime, and air domains.
