As Bruce Gresham, IMCA’s North America Engagement Director explained:

“Bright spots and trends, we’ll be hearing all about those, and much more. And, while our target audience is our members in North America, IMCA’s global reach ensures there are likely to be attendees from other parts of the world, so our speakers will give a broad view as well as homing in on where North America fits in global outlook terms. We expect this to be a very informative session.

“Hosted by our North America Committee chaired by Allan Palmer of Aqueos, with Scott Coughlan of Subsea 7 as its Vice Chair, the webinar will involve four speakers, the first being Allen Leatt, IMCA’s Chief Executive who will speak on IMCA’s strategic direction – a strategic review and membership survey having recently taken place.

“David LaBelle, Chair of the North America Chapter of the G+ Offshore Wind Health and Safety Association (and Vice President of AVANGRID Inc) will then speak on the role of G+ and its main task in the emerging offshore wind industry in North America.

“He will be followed by two analysts looking at two sides of the global energy coin. Thom Payne, Head of Offshore at Westwood Global Energy Group will share an insight on the global offshore wind market – and America’s role in it. Jared Kugler, Senior Associate on the Intelligence team at Enverus, takes ‘Gulf of Mexico: Holding its Own in Global Energy’ as his theme as he looks at the oil and gas market.

“The webinar is planned with plenty of time for inter-panel discussion and answers to attendee’s questions.”

Registration for the 90-minute webinar and information on the four speakers can be found here.
