Based in Rio de Janeiro, HD Survey is a Brazilian company specializing in hydrographic and geodetic surveys and offshore positioning for complex marine and subsea operations.

Founded in 2021 and backed by a team with more than 20 years of industry experience, HD Survey provides qualified offshore survey personnel, specialist maintenance of survey and ROV equipment, and a rental fleet of ROV and subsea equipment for Brazil’s leading offshore and renewable energy operators.

This hands-on operational knowledge makes them ideally positioned to support the growing demand for Impact Subsea sensors across Brazil’s underwater and offshore industries.

HD Survey in Brazil will provide users of our sensors with streamlined access to Impact Subsea’s full range of underwater sensors, including imaging and profiling sonars, altimeters, depth sensors, AHRS, and flooded member detection systems, alongside the Unity topside control system and seaMux subsea multiplexer, with local sales, technical support, and product demonstrations in Portuguese.

Diogo Fernandes, General Manager of HD Survey, commented: “Our team works with survey and ROV equipment offshore every day, so we know how much operators value sensors that are compact, reliable, and easy to integrate. Partnering with Impact Subsea allows us to bring their proven technology to the Brazilian market, backed by local stock, technical expertise, and support from a team that understands the demands of our clients’ operations.”

Ben Grant, Managing Director at Impact Subsea, added: “We’re delighted to welcome HD Survey as our official distributor in Brazil. Their survey and ROV background, combined with an established presence in Rio de Janeiro, means our users across the region will benefit from knowledgeable, responsive local support.”

This collaboration reflects Impact Subsea’s continued commitment to expanding its global footprint and ensuring sensor users have access to expert support wherever they operate.
