Dreekant is a planned 1 GW offshore wind farm being developed by EnBW in the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). The project site covers approximately 80 km², with water depths ranging from 37 to 46 meters.
Under the contract, SLPE will provide engineering services covering the concept, front-end engineering design (FEED) and detailed design of the wind turbine foundations. Following completion of the detailed design phase, SLPE is expected to continue supporting the project through the fabrication, installation, and commissioning stages.
The award represents an important milestone in SLPE’s continued growth and international expansion. It follows SLPE’s recent success on the Inch Cape offshore wind farm, marking yet another major contract secured by the company with an offshore wind developer.
The Dreekant project will also further strengthen the company’s growing portfolio of large-scale offshore wind foundation engineering work.

Dreekant is being developed by EnBW in the German North Sea and will have an installed capacity of 1 GW. The project site is located in the German EEZ, approximately 170 km from the export cable landing point in Lower Saxony. Final Investment Decision for the project is not expected prior to 2029.
With offshore wind playing an increasingly important role in Germany’s energy transition, projects such as Dreekant will contribute to the continued expansion of renewable electricity generation in the German North Sea.
The contract award further demonstrates SLPE’s ability to provide specialist engineering expertise to major offshore wind developers and support projects throughout their development and delivery lifecycle.
