Van Halteren Technologies Expands Hydraulic Capabilities with Mabotec and Hydroplus Acquisitions

Van Halteren Technologies (VHT) has announced the acquisition of sister companies Mabotec BV and Hydroplus BV. Through these acquisitions, Van Halteren Technologies expands the technological capabilities and service offerings of its Boxtel and Rotterdam operations, further strengthening its position as a leading supplier of high-quality hydraulic and electromechanical systems for the industrial, offshore, marine, and infrastructure markets.

Mabotec BV and Hydroplus BV operate within the Fluid Power industry. Mabotec BV designs and manufactures hydraulic manifolds weighing up to 10 tons, while Hydroplus BV specializes in the design, assembly, and testing of complete hydraulic manifold systems. Through their complementary expertise, the companies deliver advanced hydraulic solutions for a wide range of industrial applications.

The acquisitions align with the growth strategy of VHT’s Boxtel and Rotterdam operations, which focuses on broadening technological expertise and strengthening customer support in the fields of heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders and electromechanical and electrohydraulic actuators (EMA/EHA). Mabotec BV and Hydroplus BV will retain their specialized expertise and way of working within the broader VHT organization.

Current employees of Mabotec and Hydroplus will remain part of the organization, and all production facilities will continue operations. Over the coming period, the organizations will work together on a careful integration process, with continuity for customers and suppliers remaining the highest priority.

Mabotec BV and Hydroplus BV are based in Waalwijk and operate within the Fluid Power industry.

Mabotec specializes in the design and manufacture of hydraulic manifolds. The company is ISO 9001 certified and operates an extensive, highly automated machining facility. Mabotec works closely with its sister company Hydroplus.

Hydroplus specializes in cartridge valve manifold systems. Together, the two companies have built a strong international customer base and have become recognized market leaders within their sector, supplying hydraulic manifold solutions that meet the highest modern technological standards and innovation requirements.
