EdgeTech, a leader in high resolution sonar imaging systems and underwater technology, recently signed an agreement with Equipment and Consulting for Hydrographic Operations (ECHO81) to act as an exclusive 6205 MPES Representative for the Americas.
ECHO81, a distributor of marine survey instrumentation, offers equipment, installation, training and support services focused on hydrographic survey operations. ECHO81’s founder and principal, Damon Wolfe started the company after years of extensive field experience. Damon has been serving the hydrographic industry since 2008. His career as a hydrographer started at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after receiving his degree in Geomatics from the University of Florida. Damon has also held a number of successful positions with survey equipment and service related companies including EdgeTech.
EdgeTech has seen impressive growth in it’s bathymetry product line since it was launched five years ago and the company looks forward to be able to expand its reach with the support and services of ECHO81. EdgeTech offers AUV, ROV, USV and boat-mounted bathymetry systems in addition to its world renowned side scan sonars, sub-bottom profiles and acoustic releases. ECHO81 offers a complete array of hydrographic equipment to satisfy any mission. A key component in their offering is now the EdgeTech 6205 Multi Phase Echo Sounder (MPES).
