Harkand Strengthens Inspection Division with New Leader

LEADING inspection, repair, maintenance (IRM) and light construction company Harkand has bolstered its inspection services with the appointment of a new inspection manager based in their Aberdeen office.

Andrew Inglis has more than 15 years’ experience in delivering subsea inspection services in the North Sea region. He previously held inspection management roles at Subsea 7 and Bibby Offshore Ltd.

Harkand currently has a team of 20 in their inspection services division which supports work in the UKCS as well as the Gulf of Mexico and Africa regions.

Mr Inglis said: “This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining Harkand. Inspection is a core part of the company’s portfolio of services and I’m looking forward to helping further the success of the business by supporting on-going projects and using my experience to further develop new opportunities for our in-house inspection team.”

Harkand provides offshore vessels, ROVs, diving, survey services, project management and engineering to the oil and gas and renewables industries. Employing close to 1,000 people at operation bases in Aberdeen and Houston with headquarters in London; Harkand aims at being the leading subsea IRM and light construction contractor globally.
