Teledyne Bowtech Hosts the First Teledyne Marine UK Technology Focus Day

The inaugural Teledyne Marine UK Tech Day hosted by Teledyne Bowtech in Aberdeen successfully took place on Wednesday 26th October. On site representation from many of the twenty-three Teledyne Marine companies meant that no question or enquiry went unanswered. A combination of personnel, product displays, presentations, product brochures and banner stands highlighted the breadth of technology, products and capabilities that Teledyne Marine has to offer.

Numerous customers pre-registered their attendance, and alongside those that signed up on the day, the event was populated with a wealth of offshore and subsea knowledge and experience. In linking up with familiar Teledyne Marine sales and technical staff from all over the UK, existing working relationships had a significant platform to grow and reach beyond one member of Teledyne Marine. As well as demonstrating new products, existing capabilities and presenting technical information, the purpose of hosting such an event is to encourage networking across the Teledyne Marine group; for customers, existing and potential, to ascertain a better understanding of what each company has to offer – and ultimately, how we can help them.

Being the hosts, Teledyne Bowtech had a number of technical staff on site to demonstrate, test and comment on many new subsea lights and cameras, whilst TSS and RESON were on hand to showcase the ever-popular Saturn Navigation System and the SeaBat T-Series of Multibeam Echosounders. Teledyne Marine Interconnect, and Oil & Gas delivered some insightful presentations depicting the numerous different capabilities each possess in delivering both off-the-shelf and custom- built solutions.

The Teledyne Bowtech staff as well as the other Teledyne Marine Sales, Marketing and Technical personnel in attendance would like to thank those that attended the Tech Day, and hope that their visit was insightful and collaborative. Presentations and product literature from the day is available upon request.
