The new W4-VIR Visible and Infrared Lifejacket Light combines a visible flashing LED with an infrared LED, enabling search and rescue teams to locate survivors using both standard vision and night-vision goggles. The product has been designed to improve detection over longer distances, being able to detect the lifejacket light up to 2–5 km using IR flashes. It also features automatic water activation, a manual on/off switch, modular clip options, lithium battery technology, and approvals to MED/MER/SOLAS, USCG, and EASA ETSO-C85b requirements.
The W4-EX Lifejacket Light represents the next generation of Daniamant’s intrinsically safe lifejacket lights, building on the proven performance of the L6A-EX while introducing the compact and popular W4 footprint. Designed for hazardous environments where potentially explosive atmospheres may be present, the W4-EX offers automatic water activation, compact installation, robust waterproof and corrosion-resistant construction, and reliable high-intensity flashing light output for more than eight hours.
For freshwater generators and marine boilers, Daniamant will present the SL9005 Salinometer, a high-precision monitoring solution designed for real-time salinity surveillance. The SL9005 uses conductivity measurement to help protect critical systems from salt damage and includes automatic electronic self-test at power-up, continuous electrode monitoring, a 0–199 ppm alarm setpoint, 4–20 mA output for remote monitoring, and two change-over relays for pumps, external alarms, etc.
Daniamant will also feature the DanEI-300 Wheelmark-Approved Electronic Inclinometer, which has achieved IMO Wheelmark approval under the Marine Equipment Directive. The DanEI-300 is the world’s first electronic inclinometer certified to meet IMO carriage requirements for container ships and bulk carriers. The approval confirms compliance with Directive 2014/90/EU following conformity assessment under Module B and Module D by DNV, and provides shipowners, shipyards, and system integrators with a compliant solution for the SOLAS carriage requirements.
Completing the launch line-up is the ODEO Lux Electronic Visual Distress Signal Device, Daniamant’s next-generation electronic distress signaling product. The ODEO Lux is a multicolor, high-intensity, RTCM compliant eVDSD designed to provide exceptional visibility, long-duration signaling, and reliability in harsh marine environments. It is built on the ODEO SoS platform and offers a pyrotechnic-free alternative with SOS signaling, red-orange and cyan output, optional IR output, 360° hemispherical light distribution, and extended operating life.
