The partnership strengthens Ecocoast’s environmental monitoring solutions portfolio across the GCC through the integration of proven Xylem sensing technologies, including YSI and Aanderaa instruments, into the systems it supplies and services for clients across the UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar.

Xylem instruments will be integrated with Ecocoast’s configurable data buoy platforms, delivering real-time environmental intelligence for marine and coastal applications. Combining water quality, oceanographic, and meteorological monitoring, the solution supports ports, marinas, coastal developments, offshore operations, environmental compliance programs, and marine research initiatives.

Ecocoast has already demonstrated this integration capability through several regional deployments incorporating Xylem technology. At a water and power plant on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, Ecocoast locally assembled, configured, tested, and commissioned a YSI DB1750 Multi Purpose Metocean Buoy, integrating an LDI ROW oil spill sensor and Campbell Scientific logger with cellular telemetry. Live data is streamed to Xylem’s YSI HydroSphere platform for remote monitoring.

In Dubai, Ecocoast delivered a similar system for a major water utility, applying the same locally assembled, fully commissioned approach.

Supported by dedicated facilities in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, Ecocoast provides regional integration, deployment, maintenance, and technical support across both its own technologies and partner solutions. This local capability ensures GCC clients receive responsive service and long-term operational support throughout the lifecycle of their environmental monitoring systems.

Ecocoast has also provided sensor repair and YSI DB1750 reconfiguration services for a private island development in Umluj, Saudi Arabia, alongside sensor servicing, repairs, and annual maintenance contract calibrations for multiple clients in the UAE.
