Awarded under an existing agreement, the multi-million-dollar contract will see TWMA’s industry-leading RotoMill® technology and associated equipment deployed. Mobilization is scheduled for Q3 2026, with operations commencing for a multi-well campaign in Q4 2026.

The award further strengthens TWMA’s North Sea portfolio, building on more than two decades of sustained activity across the region. Against a challenging backdrop for the UK North Sea, TWMA has continued to secure significant new work, underlining the continued demand for its technology and expertise. The project will be delivered by the company’s Aberdeen-based team.

Under the contract, TWMA will process approximately 2,000 metric tonnes of drill cuttings per well. By treating drilling waste at source rather than transporting it to shore, the RotoMill® reduces vessel movements and associated emissions by up to 50% compared to onshore processing—offering significant safety and environmental benefits. Across the project, the approach is expected to significantly reduce vessel movements and deliver a substantial reduction in associated CO2e.

John Robertson, UK General Manager at TWMA, said: “We’ve been working in the North Sea for more than two decades and securing new work like this is a strong endorsement of our UK business and our team in Aberdeen. It reflects the confidence operators continue to place in our technology, our people and our ability to deliver safely and efficiently in challenging offshore environments.”

Halle Aslaksen, CEO of TWMA, added: “The UK Continental Shelf remains an important strategic market for TWMA where we have been delivering drilling waste management solutions for more than two decades. This contract reinforces our long-term commitment to operators in the region, helping them manage their drilling waste more safely, efficiently and sustainably.”
