ROCS reduces equipment requirements and streamlines offshore execution through the elimination of traditional control umbilicals during completion operations. Petrobras used the system to install a subsea smart completion on a deepwater well.

Halliburton and Petrobras worked closely throughout planning, system integration, testing, and offshore execution to meet the project’s technical requirements.

As operators develop increasingly complex deepwater resources, they seek technologies that simplify operations and improve execution efficiency. This project demonstrates how ROCS can reduce offshore complexity and provide a practical approach to subsea completion operations.

The project establishes a foundation for additional ROCS applications globally and demonstrates the value of remote-operated completion technology in complex offshore environments.
