Fugro Wins Deepwater Drill Support Contract For ONGC’S Offshore Operations in India

Vantage International Management Company has awarded Fugro Survey India Pvt. Ltd. a three-year contract to provide ROV-based deepwater drill support services for ONGC's offshore drilling operations in India. Under the contract, Fugro will support drilling and completion activities in water depths of up to 3,000 m on board Vantage's Platinum Explorer drill ship. The work forms part of ONGC's deepwater exploration program, aimed at unlocking new offshore energy reserves, strengthening India's energy security, and supporting long-term domestic oil and gas production.

Fugro will provide comprehensive subsea ROV support across all phases of drilling operations, including subsea installation and intervention, drilling and completion support, BOP and well-control monitoring, cementing observation, and seabed inspection. The company will deploy its FCV3000 ROV system to deliver reliable, high-performance support in a technically demanding deepwater environment. The project will help the client maintain safe, efficient, and uninterrupted drilling operations throughout the campaign.
