Next Geosolutions (NextGeo), one of the leading international players in marine geoscience and offshore construction support services for the energy sector and listed on Euronext Growth Milan market, has announced the completion of post-lay trenching work as part of the Bouri Gas Utilization Project (BGUP).

This initiative marks a further step forward in the Group’s development, expanding the range of solutions offered to customers through the integration of trenching services, in line with the growth strategy outlined in recent market announcements.

Within BGUP, operational activities are carried out in support of the installation operations led by Saipem, thanks to the contribution of Rana Subsea and the collaboration, for trenching activities, with Pharos Offshore Group, the supplier of the specialist technologies used. The initiative reflects NextGeo’s approach, based on the integration of expertise and strategic industrial partnerships to enhance the value offered across the offshore services chain.

Alessandro Buffa, CEO of Rana Subsea, commented: “With this initiative, we are reaffirming our ability to meet the highest industry standards in trenching as well—a new service now included in the range of solutions NextGeo offers its clients, including through collaboration with strategic partners. At RANA Subsea, we are particularly proud to contribute, through our engineering and operational expertise, to strengthening the Group’s position in highly complex projects.”
