Njord Survey has been awarded a three-year framework agreement with the option to extend for one year by Equinor for pipeline inspection and integrity works across European waters. This significant agreement builds upon previous successful collaborations and will ensure safe and reliable offshore operations through high-resolution geophysical surveys and low CO2e emission vessel operations.

The framework agreement demonstrates Njord Survey’s continued excellence in data quality, advanced processing, and efficient offshore execution. It also highlights the strong alignment between the two companies, particularly regarding their shared commitment to the highest global standards in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).

“We are incredibly happy and proud to secure this long-term agreement with Equinor,” said Philip Ljungström, Project Director at Njord Survey. “Our teams at sea and onshore have shown exceptional collaboration and precision. This is a great example of how advanced technology, strong client collaboration, and our commitment to sustainability go hand in hand. Equinor has one of the highest focuses on quality and HSE in the world, which aligns perfectly with our own rigorous HSE work and operational philosophy.”

“This long-term agreement truly reflects what Njord Survey stands for,” added Martin Wikmar, CEO of Njord Survey. “We push boundaries, deliver smarter and safer solutions, and do it while maintaining a net-zero mindset. I’m proud of our people—their dedication to effective operations and carbon-neutral surveys continues to set new standards for sustainable offshore surveying.”

The award of this major framework agreement further strengthens Njord Survey’s position as a trusted supplier for critical offshore infrastructure and as one of the few companies in the world that can conduct carbon-neutral geophysical surveys.
