Prysmian to Provide 350 km of Deep-Water Electro-Hydraulic Umbilicals to Petrobras

Prysmian Group has been awarded a contract for a total supply of 350 km of high-end deep-water electro-hydraulic umbilicals using both Steel Tube and Thermoplastic technology, alongside specialized offshore and logistic services by Petrobras.

The contract, worth approximately 92 M €, has in scope to meet the technological demand of installation and operation upgrades in brown and green field projects in Brazil. Steel Tube and Thermoplastic umbilicals will be engineered, produced, tested and delivered during 2022-2025 by the Group’s Excellence Centre for subsea dynamic technologies in Vila Velha.
