The specialist in dry dock and ship repair, fabrication and conversion, which has facilities located in key ports throughout Scotland, has welcomed Richard Reid as Head of Operations, who will work closely with Stuart McLeod, Director of Operations at Dales Marine, to manage day-to-day performance across each of the company’s sites.
Bringing more than two decades of experience to this new position, including in leadership roles at Integrity ISS and Sparrows Group, Richard is responsible for operational planning and resource allocation, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery of ship repair and maintenance services.
Richard is joined by Stuart Brodie as Head of Commercial, who is leading the development and rollout of new tender processes to drive commercialization and win new projects in Scotland and further afield. Across his more than 25-year career in the engineering industry, Stuart held positions at Babcock International Group, Ferguson Marine and Three60 Energy, where he managed multinational tenders for marine and engineering projects.
Gemma Neal was also appointed as Marketing Manager. Bringing more than 20 years’ experience in strategic marketing and communications, she has led marketing teams and launched international brands across the oil and gas, renewable energy, marine, hospitality, construction and education sectors.
She will oversee Dales Marine’s marketing strategy, helping to strengthen the company’s profile as it continues to grow. Her previous leadership roles include ICR Integrity, Vysus Group and Lloyd’s Register.
