The event brought together members of the local business and technology community, company partners, customers, and friends of Poseidon’s Forge to mark the company’s next chapter and its continued growth in the autonomous underwater systems market.
Guests also had the opportunity to see several of the technologies being developed and tested at the new facility, including the company’s DarkWake® autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV), Orion mission planning and data analysis software, custom battery management systems, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation capabilities.
“Poseidon’s Forge brings decades of experience in autonomous underwater systems to advancing underwater technology,” said Daryl Slocum, Founder & CEO of Poseidon’s Forge. “This new facility gives our team the space and capabilities to expand vehicle development, testing, and the technologies that are shaping the future of underwater autonomy.”
The new headquarters provides Poseidon’s Forge with expanded space for engineering, integration, testing, and technology development as the company continues advancing its portfolio of autonomous underwater systems.
At the center of the company’s development efforts is DarkWake®, a modular AUV designed for adaptability across missions and payloads. Its architecture enables rapid configuration and integration, supporting the company’s focus on creating underwater systems that can evolve as operational requirements change.
The grand opening also highlighted the breadth of Poseidon’s Forge’s development environment, from vehicle hardware and custom power systems to mission software and simulation technologies. The company is developing these capabilities as an integrated ecosystem designed to accelerate the development and deployment of advanced autonomous underwater systems.
