AIRMAR® Technology Corporation (Airmar), a global leader in ultrasonic transducers and CHIRP sonar technology, announced the launch of a new line of NMEA 2000® approved cables and connectors engineered with premium materials to deliver long-term reliability, durability, and full standards compliance.

Designed to meet the demands of modern marine networks, the new cable and connector offering delivers professional-grade performance using metal connectors constructed from zinc alloy with gold-plated pins, ensuring secure electrical connections under real-world marine operating conditions.

By leveraging established manufacturing expertise and economies of scale, Airmar delivers premium construction quality at a more competitive price point than many existing NMEA 2000 cabling solutions. All cables and connectors are manufactured in the USA, fully NMEA 2000 approved, and compatible with all NMEA 2000-compliant networks. The product range includes all core components required to build, expand, or service a network backbone, including drop cables, tee connectors, terminators, power tees, and field-attachable connectors.

“As onboard electronics systems continue to grow in size and complexity, the marine industry needs cabling that can be trusted for long-term performance,” said Jennifer Matsis, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Airmar Technology Corporation. “This new offering reflects Airmar’s commitment to reliable, standards-compliant products, robust materials, and value-based pricing, supported by technical expertise.”

The cable and connector line is supported through Airmar’s authorized distribution network, with Gemeco Marine Electronics Specialists in the Americas, Airmar EMEA in Europe, and Airmar ANZ in Australia and New Zealand, providing knowledgeable dealer and installer support.
