ON&T to Publish Special Edition: The Future of Ocean Technology 2021

Ocean News & Technology (ON&T), a leading trade publication reporting on the ocean and offshore industries, has announced details of an upcoming December Special Edition, The Future of Ocean Technology 2021, which will unite an exclusive rollcall of industry thought leaders to discuss the innovation breakthroughs set to redefine at-sea operations.

ONT LogoThis year’s edition is a follow-up to ON&T’s The Future of Ocean Technology 2020, which was distributed (print and digital) to an audience of over 22,000, with articles covering a wide range of topics, from unmanned warfare to autonomous survey to diving technology.

“We saw an overwhelming response to our inaugural Special Edition last year, and we have already confirmed a number of key contributors to this year’s line-up,” said ON&T’s Managing Editor Ed Freeman. “This editorial appetite is not only testament to an enormously industrious and creative sector but is also clear evidence that this will be a decade of unprecedented technological progress for the professional ocean community.”

The Future of Ocean Technology 2021, as was the case last year, is a feature-only (no news) issue, so is squarely dedicated to profiling the fresh thinking, applied science, and pioneering technology set to accelerate ocean exploration in the coming years. The magazine, available in both print and digital versions, will be distributed at the end of December 2021.

“While our regular monthly magazine is more thematic, and so supported by a mix of specific opinion, technical insight, and industry news, we see The Future of Ocean Technology series as a more timeless ‘lobby’ copy execution of thought leadership; we are essentially inviting guest authors—executives, engineers, and scientists alike—to bring their specialism, product, or service and demonstrate how they see this contributing to a more prosperous and sustainable future,” Freeman added.

Various editorial packages are available for The Future of Ocean Technology 2021, but spaces are limited. Interested parties can contact Jessie Lewis at [email protected] for more information.
