Robosys Automation Wins Top On-Water Demo Award at BlueTIDE 2026

Robosys Automation has been recognized for its contribution to BlueTIDE 2026 in Rhode Island, winning the Collaborative Integration Award – Best Overall On-Water Demonstration alongside its technology partners Tactical Composites, Persistent Systems, Jaia Robotics, and Juice Robotics.

The award followed a successful on-water demonstration of the SHARC autonomous landing craft, showcasing the platform in an operational context and demonstrating the capabilities made possible through the integration of autonomous vessel technology, communications, and marine systems.

Held in Rhode Island, BlueTIDE brings together industry, government, academia, and technology organizations to demonstrate emerging maritime and undersea technologies in realistic operational environments. The event provides an opportunity for participating companies to move beyond conventional technology showcases and demonstrate how integrated systems can perform in practical maritime scenarios.

For Robosys, the event provided an opportunity to demonstrate its capabilities as part of a wider collaborative technology solution. Working alongside Tactical Composites and Persistent Systems, the team showcased the SHARC autonomous landing craft as an example of how autonomous navigation, communications, and vessel technologies can be integrated to support uncrewed maritime operations.

A key element of the demonstration was the integration of Robosys’ VOYAGER AI Autonomous Navigation System with Anduril’s Lattice platform. The integration demonstrated how autonomous vessel capabilities can connect with a wider command, control, and situational awareness environment, supporting the coordination of autonomous systems within an operational context.

Tactical Composites and Robosys Automation are both Rhode Island companies, making the demonstration particularly relevant to the region’s growing maritime technology and innovation ecosystem. The collaboration brings together local engineering and autonomy expertise with complementary technologies from partners operating across the wider maritime and defense technology sector.

The SHARC platform provides a flexible unmanned surface vessel capable of supporting a range of operational missions. At BlueTIDE, the focus was on demonstrating the vessel and its integrated autonomous capabilities in an operational context, highlighting the potential for autonomous platforms to undertake maritime missions with reduced reliance on onboard personnel.

The Collaborative Integration Award – Best Overall On-Water Demonstration recognizes the combined efforts of the participating organizations and the ability to bring multiple technologies together into a functioning operational demonstration.
