Flotation Energy and Harbour Energy Sign MOU to Explore North Sea Electrification

Flotation Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Harbour Energy to collaborate on the assessment of North Sea offshore electrification opportunities.

The agreement brings together Harbour Energy’s extensive experience as a North Sea operator with the floating offshore wind and electrification expertise within the project, to explore potential scenarios and build greater understanding of the technical, regulatory, and commercial considerations involved.

The Flotation Energy team expressed that it is delighted to support this collaboration, bringing together expertise from across offshore wind and oil and gas to assess innovative solutions and support the UK’s transition toward a renewable energy future.
