Saronic announced it has opened a new 80,000+ square-foot operations facility in downtown San Diego. With this expansion, Saronic is investing in the region’s defense innovation ecosystem and enhancing its ability to support US and Allied maritime partners across the Pacific.

The new facility will serve as a multi-purpose West Coast base, housing a combination of mission operations staff, business development teams, and office support functions. Strategically located near West Coast Navy installations and commands, the site will strengthen Saronic’s ability to deliver real-time mission support of its autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) produced at scale in Austin, Texas, and Franklin, Louisiana.

“San Diego is a critical node in the US maritime defense landscape, and we’re excited to join and contribute to this lively community,” said Rob Lehman, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Saronic. “Our presence in San Diego reflects our commitment not only to our Navy partners, but to the region’s economic revitalization and innovation ecosystem.”
