NORBIT Subsea Launches Web-Based Interface for ROV Sonar Operations

NORBIT Subsea has introduced NORBIT Connect, a new web-based user interface designed to simplify and enhance ROV sonar operations. Developed in response to customer feedback, NORBIT Connect provides a more intuitive way to configure and operate NORBIT bathymetry sonar systems while retaining the full functionality of the previous interface. Operators can quickly adjust sonar coverage, gate settings, beamforming modes, and imagery parameters through a streamlined interface, while new tools such as on-screen measurement, customizable wedge grid overlays, and enhanced visualization improve situational awareness and efficiency during underwater operations.

Built on a web-based architecture, NORBIT Connect can be accessed from any device connected to the network, enabling remote monitoring and control from elsewhere on the vessel or other connected workstations. By combining familiar sonar controls with a modern, responsive interface and flexible remote access, NORBIT Connect helps ROV operators work more efficiently while maintaining the high-performance imaging capabilities expected from NORBIT sonar systems.
