The contract provides for the manufacture and delivery of APEX profiling floats in accordance with contract requirements established by NAVOCEANO.

APEX profiling floats provide unattended measurements of temperature, salinity, and pressure throughout the water column, operating to depths of 2,000 meters. Designed for both air and surface deployment, including parachute-assisted aircraft launch, the systems enable rapid ocean data acquisition in remote and operationally complex environments.

This contract extends the company’s long-standing commitment to ocean observation through the development and manufacture of autonomous observing systems.
